The Sustainable Health & Wellness Village Festival (SHWV) Tour is an intergenerational statewide, community-centered health and wellness event that connects individuals across generations—including youth, older adults, and families. SHWV is built on proven models informed by the CDC’s Social Determinants of Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Action Framework. The festival aims to improve access to care and strengthen health outcomes in resource-limited communities throughout New Jersey by offering direct connections to healthcare services and local resources. Delivered in a culturally responsive, welcoming environment, the festival fosters meaningful interactions between community members and regional service providers.
